The technicians are directly responsible to the Leads over their department for the daily workings of the shop. The structures technicians will have at least three to five years experience preferably with helicopters. The technicians will provide their own basic tools in shadowed toolbox. Their responsibilities include the following:

1. Performing the actual repair work on the helicopters.

2. Following the FAA regulations. TM's or OEM Manuals pertaining to the repair they are performing.

3. Following all safety precautions pertaining to the shop.

4. Recording and tracking labor hours to the correct work order.

5. Notifying the Lead Technician in the event that any hidden damage or discrepancy is found in addition to the original Work Order.

6. Keeping the Lead Technician informed of the progress of the job and the necessary inspections that need to be completed.

7. Execute all required paperwork to the Lead Technician in a clear concise manner.

8. Reporting all defective tools and equipment to the Lead.

9. Removing out of calibration tools from service.

10.Assist in maintaining and updating their personal training records and employment summaries.

11.Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Lead.
