General News
Construction
is underway to add 10,000 sq. ft addition to the initial
building with an additional 3400 sq. ft paint
shop. These additions do not affect the plans for the
39,000 sq. ft facility early next year which plans are
currently being finalized.
Our office
complex is scheduled for completion by the end of
December or early January.
New Hires
Helispec
hired two more employees these employees currently
attend Brantley High School, Jeremy McCann
and Steven Odom have accepted positions as our part time
shop help. While employed with us they will be trained
in certain aspects of aviation and if they desire, will
progress to our apprentice program. We hope that they
will make a career out of aviation. We
welcome Jeremy and Steven to the Helispec family.
We have
three more employees scheduled to start the first week
of January.

New Hires
We would
like to welcome Kirk Dusek to the Helispec family. Kirk
has accepted the position of Lead
Component Technician.
Awards
Contract to
install fin spars in UH1 tailbooms, since the award the
tailbooms are nearing completion and
should be shipped back to the customer ahead of
schedule.
Contract to
paint 3 blackhawks, these will be arriving the first
part of January 05.
More
tailbooms expected to arrive early January.
Sheet metal
equipment has arrived and is in place as is our NDT
equipment.

At 4pm today
the President and Vice Presidents of Helispec, LLC made
an official announcement regarding
the location of the new facility, we have chosen to
locate in Brantley, Alabama. Helispec will occupy the
old 16000 sq. ft Meredith
building, Helispec has future plans to build an
additional 39,000 sq. ft facility at the Brantley
airport with ground breaking hopefully
within the next three months. We feel that the location
of our facility will prove
very advantageous for the people of Brantley, Crenshaw
county and Helispec, LLC.

Things are
progressing smoothly, the preliminary plans have been
drawn for our phase three building. Helispec
will have a state of the art facility adding new

Helispec is in the
initial set up stages and are awaiting authorizations
from major helicopter manufacturers and
in the process of being ISO certified in addition to
acquiring GSA Schedules and 8A certification. All of
which will assist us in
providing a complete spectrum of R&O services including
in house reworks, paint shop,
avionics, upgrades, structural repairs, materials
management and logistics. Leading edge technical
expertise, a broad range of
capabilities, and an exceptional workforce will put
Helispec, LLC at the fore front of helicopter
R&O services. The management of Helispec, LLC prides
